My daily facial routine

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog ! This is my first ever blog and I decided to create a blog so that I have an outlet for all my excitement that Lush fills me with. This is also my first ever post so please let me know what you think. I can't wait to connect with all you lushies out there !!!
So let's commence with the reviews..
I thought I would begin with my daily facial routine...

9 to 5 cleanser
I chose this cleanser due to the fact that it is quick and easy to use, which is perfect for when I am rushing around in the morning. It has a creamy consistency which glids over the skin beautifully. It doesn't really have a very strong smell but there is a slight floral smell which I believe comes from the ylang ylang oil. A little of this product goes away and I only use a 5 pence size blob to do my entire face so a bottle of this will last you ages, making it great value for money at £9.75 for a 240g bottle. I massage this lotion all over my face every morning, then remove it with a warm flannel. After using this lotion my face feels super soft and super clean.  I feel it really gets into my pores and gets the dirt out. Other reviews say that this cleanser is also great at removing make up, even waterproof mascara, although I can't comment on this as I don't wear make up (shock horror !!). Overall a really good product which has become a staple in my daily routine.

Breath of fresh air toner water
After removing my cleanser I spray about 4 sprays of this water onto a cotton pad and wipe it all across my face to help remove any stubborn bits of cleanser and to tighten my pores back  up. This toner smells just like you would expect it to - like a breath of fresh air !!! I have heard of some people spraying this directly onto their face, however I feel the nozzle of the spray isn't quite right for this as the toner blasts out of the nozzle hence why I use a cotton pad. Although I used to just use this every morning, I now also carry this in my handbag so that I can use this to cool and refresh my face during the day. It is really good on hot and humid days when your skin feels a little sticky, a few sprays of this and you feel as fresh as a daisy. The smaller 100g bottle is a perfect size to keep in your handbag. I purchased the 100g bottle for £4.25 which I think is a bargain considering I have been using it for months and still have loads left.

Imperialis moisturizer
This product is designed to be suitable for all skin types as the ingredients help to balance the natural oils in your skin. This is the main reason why I chose this moisturizer over the other ones Lush had on offer because I have areas of my skin which are quite oily, mainly my nose, and others which are neither oily or dry. My first impressions were actually quite negative as I didn't like the smell however it has somewhat grown on me over time, plus it is only a minor issue because once rubbed into the skin it doesn't leave behind a lingering scent. You only need to use a tiny amount of this and I mean absolutely tiny ! After this has soaked in, my face feels very soft however my one little niggle with this product is that if I use it on my nose it makes my nose really greasy. I still continue to use this product though, I just don't apply any to my nose ! Problem solved. This being said, if you have oily skin I would perhaps give this moisturizer a miss and try Enzymion instead.
